The Greater Freeport Community Chorus has been bringing high-quality choral entertainment to Freeport and surrounding communities since 1996. Our members hail from approximately 22 towns throughout midcoast Maine. We are a non-audition group, and defer dues for high-school students and those who need assistance.
In addition to our two concerts in December and in May, we regularly support the Freeport community by performing at Freeport's Memorial Day ceremony. Small ensembles sing holiday favorites each December at L.L. Bean, and provide musical entertainment at area senior centers and charity events.
Members' dues and concert admissions cannot cover all of our annual expenses which include artistic director and accompanist salaries, instrumentalists and venue fees, promotional materials and more.
The Greater Freeport Community Chorus is a 501(3)c non-profit organization. We depend upon the support of our community. You can contribute by making a tax0deductible donation at one of the following levels (or any amount you wish):
Director - $200 or more - We will provide a link from our website to yours, include your logo on our website, concert posters and programs. We will also announce your name at each concert and provide 6 complimentary tickets to our concerts.
Accompanist - $100-$199 - We will provide a link from our website to yours, list your name in our programs and provide 4 complimentary tickets to our concerts.
Chorister - $50-$99 - We will list your name in our program, and provide two complimentary tickets to our concerts.
